The IPF Meditation is a Conversation
The IPF meditation is conversational. It’s designed to be experienced one-on-one. That’s why we recommend working with a professional to deepen attachment security.
Your facilitator can accompany you, prompting experiences based on your attachment needs. They’ll reinforce the secure experiences you share and help you deepen and amplify your feelings.
For example, with your eyes closed you might feel your ideal parent figures being with you in just the right ways. You might notice their warm eyes.
Then your facilitator might say, “Yes, really feel the warmth in their eyes when they look at you, how the way they’re being with you is just right. Notice how it feels in your body to be receiving care in just the way you need it.”
Studies show a shift into attachment security after 35-50 hours of IPF Meditation with a provider who shares session recordings for between-visit listening.

Avoids Trauma Processing
The 3 Pillars Model often resolves trauma without processing it. This is a gift because traditional trauma processing can re-traumatize those with disorganized attachment.
Resolves Insecurity
Along with supporting a move into secure attachment (as measured by the AAI), the model can be used prior to trauma processing to resolve attachment insecurity.
