My Coaching Approach

What’s it like to work with me?

I’m a warm, encouraging resource—dedicated to being fully present and offering an environment that is supportive, attuned, and nurturing.
You’ll notice I’m soft in a storm and easily delighted.
I focus on nourishing a gentle, safe space where we can be together, and you can bring forward any feelings that arise in the moment and want to be shared.
Although working together is not therapy, I abide by the ethical standards of therapeutic relationships.

We All Need Emotional Safety

My approach to a coaching partnership is based on presence and listening—the kind that deeply respects the wisdom of what’s coming up for you from moment to moment.
You’re the authority on how your healing unfolds, and I trust that.
The main theoretical framework I offer is Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). IPNB is an interdisciplinary framework developed by Dan Siegel that blends several disciplines—like Buddhist philosophy, Neurobiology, and Attachment Science.
In practice I’ll offer attachment-based approaches for you to consider like the Three Pillars model—designed by Harvard researchers Daniel P. Brown and David S. Elliott—often known for one of the primary pillars, the IPF Protocol, which stands for Ideal Parent Figures. This Harvard-born visualization model is used to heal attachment wounds without processing trauma, which studies show can re-traumatize some of us.
My work is also deeply influenced by Sue Johnson’s couple’s attachment model called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), meditation, IFS parts work, and the polyvagal techniques inspired by Stephen Porges‘ contributions to our understanding of the human nervous system and more specifically the vagus nerve. Polyvagal Theory is the study of emotional safety, how safety is cultivated in relationship and springboards our experience away from chaos or rigidity into all good things: peace, play, creativity, curiosity, flexibility, warmth, integration, openness . . .
Such approaches can help heal deep attachment wounds.
